Who we are

This policy explains how ambty ([registered business name], [business registration no.], [business address], Malaysia) handles personal data collected through ambty.com and our services. For any privacy question, contact ask@ambty.com. For the purposes of Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), ambty is the data user.

What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, company, and anything you write when you book a discovery call, fill in a form, register for an event, or email us.
• Payment information: if you buy a service, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles them as the payment processor.
• Information collected automatically: device and browser data, IP address, pages visited and similar usage data, collected through cookies and analytics so the site works and we can improve it.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and run discovery calls.
• To provide and administer the services you ask for, including taking payment.
• To send you marketing or event emails where you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To measure and improve the website and our marketing, including advertising.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

Our legal basis

We process personal data with your consent (for example marketing emails and non-essential cookies), to perform a contract with you (for example delivering a service you booked), and to meet our legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run ambty, each acting on our instructions:

• Webflow, website hosting.
• Google, for discovery-call booking (Google Calendar) and website analytics (Google Analytics), and advertising (Google Ads) where used.
• Stripe, payment processing.
• Brevo, email delivery and marketing.
• Meta, advertising and measurement (Meta Pixel) where used.

Confirm and trim this list to the tools actually in use before publishing. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside Malaysia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected to a comparable standard.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to make the site work, analytics cookies to understand usage, and, where enabled, advertising cookies for remarketing. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and through any cookie banner shown on the site. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required for legal, tax and accounting reasons, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent to marketing, or limit how we use your data. To make a request, email ask@ambty.com. You may also contact the Personal Data Protection Department of Malaysia if you have a concern we cannot resolve.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. The last updated date at the top shows the latest version.
